Despite growing up in the same house, Siang Plaing and Wan Wanviwah had distinct socioeconomic statuses. Plaing is the homeowner's child, while Wan works at the residence. Plaing is told by Wan that although they would never want to be separated, she would eventually have to be married. Wan decided she would not be alone and set out to find a good mate. But because of this plan, Plaing learns to recognize her own affections for Wan. Wan's parents die in a business tragedy, and as their love grows, Plaing leaves her with nothing except a love letter. Later, they run into each other once again, but Wan is now engaged.
